PawHours is how a street looks after its own pets. Walk a neighbour's dog this week, and someone walks yours when you are away. No money changes hands — only hours.

How it works

Three free hours to start you off

Start with three

Every new member gets three PawHours. Enough to ask a neighbour for an afternoon before you have given anything.

Earn by helping

Look after someone's pet and the hours come to you. A drop-in, a walk, a weekend of feeding the cat.

Spend when you need to

Away for work, in hospital, or just stuck late. Ask, and someone nearby who has the time takes it on.

It is a loop, not a ladder — most people do both, most months.

Before you ask

The things worth knowing up front

Hours cannot be bought

There is no way to buy your way to the top of the pile. Hours are earned by looking after animals, and that is the only way in.

We do not vet anyone

No background checks, no identity verification. You see reviews and reliability from other members — that is not the same as us having checked somebody. Meet first.

The app is a subscription

Paid through the App Store or Google Play, with two months free. That pays for PawHours. Nothing inside the app is for sale.

One neighbourhood at a time

Care only works if somebody is ten minutes away. We would rather be useful on one street than thin across a city.

Beta

We are looking for the first fifty

Owners, and people happy to give a few hours a month. Prishtinë first. Leave your email and we will be in touch when there are enough neighbours nearby for it to be worth your time.

We will only use it to tell you when the beta opens near you.
